Our CSR Initiatives

EDUCATION & HUNGER

Jain Vidyanikethan

Jain Vidyaniketan has impacted life of students in and around Kanakapura Taluk, in the past 10 years zero percent dropout and 100% result which is achieved by students from Secured 5th Rank and 7th Rank in Karnataka State Board Exams. Most of the classrooms are equipped with smart and modern technology for students to constantly upgrade their skills to compete outside.
More than 85% of students are studying free of cost with meals. Jain Vidyaniketan is also provided free meals to staff of Govt. veterinary hospital and patients of nearby Govt. hospital.
Since 2 years, with support from Narayana Hrudayalaya, under the program Udaan, 40 students/year have been given special training to clear NEET and pursue Medical education.

Connect To Careers

JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) has always been at the forefront of education whether it is the IT or the non-IT sector. The University’s commitment to the students and the society does not end at being merely an education provider. It has an inexhaustible drive to raise awareness on various careers through “Education Fairs” and facilitate job opportunities for students and job aspirants through “Job Fairs”.

JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is organizing this event in association with First Naukri, Linkedin and GWFM network forum labeled as “Connect to Careers”, the event is in harmony with JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) vision to provide the awareness for students to pursue right careers.

SEED

Being a firm believer in this ideology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) strives to make education available to every child. With our priority of serving the society, on Children’s Day, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) has launched an annual initiative called, ‘SEED – Social Education and Empowerment Drive’. SEED focuses on educating and empowering the underprivileged children. The initiative also includes inspiring sessions by experts from various fields to motivate the children to pursue their dreams.

Daan Utsav - ANNA SEVA

JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) in association with iVolunteer organizing “Seva Sandwich” as part of Daan Utsav – India’s festival of giving. Launched in 2009 by iVolunteer, the festival is celebrated every year commencing on Gandhi Jayanti from October 2-8.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

My Country Run

JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), with a vision to empower talent through its innovative learning experience, has become an educational hub for millions of young minds hailing from more than 35 countries. JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) enlightens each and every aspiring student on higher education and career choices. Its ever-evolving and open-minded system encourages students to exceed expectations in their area of interest, thus, guiding them to become ethically sound individuals. In an effort to continue the sporting legacy, the University is organizing “My Country Run”. Split into three formats – Elite 10K, Open 10K, and Cool 5K – My Country Run intends to promote future Olympians of the country and hopes to create awareness among the masses regarding the health benefits of staying fit and active. My Country Run is also an AIMS certified.

ENVIRONMENT

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India) campaign is one of the most important sanitation initiatives taken by the Government of India to keep its streets, cities, towns and rural areas clean. JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is delighted to be a part of this cleanliness drive and hence the students of Rotaract Club, SCAPS forum, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) in association with HR professionals from the corporate world, members of MTHR Global (More Than HR Global) forum have chosen to contribute to the campaign by taking up a cleanliness drives.

Sampradaana – Mega Blood Donation Camp

‘Attitude to Achieve’ for a noble cause is always been the fundamental principle of JGI andJAIN (Deemed-to-be University). This principle was reinforced on 7 July 2016 onwards through ‘Sampradaana-Mega Blood Donation Camp’. ‘Sampradaana’ will be organized across eight constituents of JGI and Jain-Deemed to be University, to celebrate ‘Founders Day’ on the 7 July.

Tree Plantation Initiative

The future will either be green or not at all. The Earth does not belong to us: we belong to the Earth. Tree Plantation is an annual CSR activity from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), with the support of our students we plant trees across the campuses.
